Sweet and goofy, this beautifully strong-built Akita female possesses a huge heart for people. Zumi lives with my parents in Soest (around the corner). She is the figurehead of a conference center in Amersfoort, where she encounters a diverse array of individuals during her work. Notably, she is the most talkative dog in our pack! Special Skills: opening all kinds of doors, Zumizu is a smart and true Houdini.

Despite being an adult, she remains the most playful and goofy Akita in our pack. With an uncanny ability to devise the naughtiest plans, she never fails to bring laughter into our lives.

She holds a distaste for strange, grumpy dogs but adores the dogs within her pack. Zumizu is particularly fond of all kinds of snacks!

Her favorite game involves wrestling with her Shiba brother, Kuma, showcasing genuine Akita hunting behavior.

Her hunting skills are on point, and whenever possible, she displays her prowess by catching wild mice and rabbits.

Name History

Zumizu was named after a song we really like in our family (Zou Bisou Bisou – Gillian Hills). It’s about love and the joy of kissing. Zumizu is a dog that loves to lick and kiss your face
